IRP applies to selected out-of-warranty iPhone and Mac repairs. Component-level board repair is a service provided by ReciclaTecnología. We are an independent repair shop, not an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP); ReciclaTecnología provides the warranty for our work.

If it has got wet, don’t charge it and don’t switch it on — bring it in as soon as you can: ultrasonic cleaning strips the corrosion off the logic board from 70 €, and the less time that passes, the better the odds of getting everything back, photos included. Logic board repair
Won’t turn on, stuck on the Apple logo, won’t charge on the puck or has lost pairing with your iPhone. Microsoldering on one of the smallest boards there is — very few workshops will take it on.

Liquid damage
The Apple Watch handles water well, but the seal degrades over the years and every time the case is opened. If water has got in, ultrasonic cleaning halts the corrosion before it eats into the board.

The number one Apple Watch fault is not the knock — it is the swollen battery pushing the screen outwards. If you can see the glass lifting along one edge, stop wearing it: it ends up tearing the touchscreen flex and making the repair dearer than it needed to be. We work on the whole range — Series 1 to 11, all three SE models and the Ultra — in every size from 38 to 49 mm. As with everything else, the initial assessment is free and you get a fixed price before we open the watch.

How much does an Apple repair cost in Barcelona?
It depends on the device and on the fault. iPhone repairs start at 25 €, iPad at 50 €, Apple Watch at 40 € and Mac at 35 €. Further down the page you have the “from” price for each device and a link to the model-by-model price list. The initial assessment is free and the price is fixed before we start: it covers diagnosis, the part, labour and VAT.
How long does a repair take?
56% of repairs are ready the same day, depending on the fault and on whether the part is in stock. An iPhone screen or battery is usually done while you wait; an iPad or an Apple Watch needs time for the seal to cure; and a board repair with microsoldering can take several days. We confirm the turnaround before we start, never after.
Will I lose my data during the repair?
On a screen, battery, charging port or camera replacement the storage is never touched and your data stays exactly where it is. On a board fault, or on a device that will not turn on, nothing can be guaranteed 100%, so we recommend backing up before you bring it in whenever the device still starts. If it no longer starts we offer data recovery, and at the initial assessment we tell you what the realistic chances are.
What exactly does the 3-year warranty cover?
It covers the part we fitted and our labour for 3 years, the same on a Mac as on an iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch: if anything related to our work fails, we put it right at no charge. Liquid damage, normal battery wear and any knocks or breakages after the repair are excluded. The full detail is on our 3-year warranty page.
iPhone screen: which replacement options are available?
Incell is a compatible option from 50 €; OLED uses a different panel technology. We explain the available replacement options for your model, their provenance and the functions they retain. Before starting, we confirm the price and the conditions of the repair’s 3-year warranty, provided by ReciclaTecnología.
Do you repair iPad and Apple Watch as well?
Yes, and not just the screen. On iPad we replace the screen from 50 € and the battery from 50 €, and repair the board from 50 €; on the iPad 10 and iPad 11 the price depends on whether the glass alone is enough or the full LCD has to be changed. On Apple Watch we replace the battery from 40 €, repair the board from 50 € and replace the screen from 70 €, from Series 1 to Series 11 and on SE and Ultra. Ultrasonic treatment for liquid damage costs from 70 € on both.
Can you repair a Mac that won’t turn on?
In most cases yes. A Mac that won’t power on often has a repairable fault at component level on the logic board. We perform microsolder repair and diagnose the root cause. Bring it in for a free assessment.
Can you upgrade my Mac RAM or SSD?
Yes, on compatible models from 2008 onwards. An SSD or RAM upgrade is often the most cost-effective way to dramatically improve the performance of an older Mac. We migrate all your data securely as part of the service.
Are you an Apple authorised service provider? Do I need an appointment?
We are an independent repair service in Sant Antoni and are not an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP). Apple does not perform or warrant our repairs. Our microsoldering equipment allows us to work at component level and assess devices Apple classes as vintage or obsolete. And no, you do not need an appointment: walk in Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 20:00 with no lunchtime closing, at Carrer del Marquès de Campo Sagrado 13-15, on the corner of Comte Borrell. There is 1h 30min of free parking for customers.
