IRP + GAPP · ACST + ACRT

The best of both worlds. For your Apple device.

We are an Apple Independent Repair Provider (IRP), with access to genuine Apple parts through IRP and the Genuine Apple Parts Program (GAPP), and a technician who holds the Apple Certified Support Technician (ACST) and Apple Certified Repair Technician (ACRT) certifications. This training complements our experience in logic board repair.

IRP applies to selected out-of-warranty iPhone and Mac repairs. Component-level board repair is a service provided by ReciclaTecnología. We are an independent repair shop, not an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP); ReciclaTecnología provides the warranty for our work.

How we open and reseal your Apple Watch

A Watch is not a small iPhone. This is exactly what happens to yours.

Walk in, no appointment

Come to the shop in Sant Antoni, Monday to Saturday 10:00 to 20:00, or message us on WhatsApp first. The initial assessment is free and we normally do it while you wait.

We open it with heat, not force

The display is glued to the case, not screwed to it. We soften the adhesive, lift the screen a fraction of a millimetre at a time and disconnect the two short ribbon cables before anything else moves. Rush that step and the flex tears, which is why plenty of shops will not attempt it.

We repair, then reseal

Screen, battery or board work is done with the case open and the watch on the bench. On the way back together we fit fresh adhesive right round the perimeter, so the seal is rebuilt rather than just pressed shut. What no independent workshop can do is recertify the original water-resistance rating, so treat a repaired Watch as splash-resistant rather than swim-proof.

Tested, then back on your wrist

We check touch, the Digital Crown, charging, pairing and the sensors on the back before you leave. Most Apple Watch repairs are finished the same day at no extra cost, and every one carries our 3-year warranty.

Why choose ReciclaTecnología for Apple Watch repair in Barcelona?

Most repair shops will happily take your iPhone and hand the Watch straight back. We take the job on.

⌚

We actually repair Apple Watches

Watch repairs are small, glued and easy to ruin, so most shops send them away or tell you to buy a new one. Yours stays here, on our own bench in Sant Antoni.

🖥️

Screens for every series

From 70 € on the original 38mm Watch to 345€ on the Ultra, fitted with new adhesive. Fixed price per model, quoted before we open anything.

🔋

Batteries from 40 €

A Watch that gives up by mid-afternoon needs a new cell, not replacing. 40€ on the early series, up to 95€ on the newest models and the Ultra.

🔬

Board-level microsoldering

Watch dead, no charging, no touch. We repair the logic board itself under the microscope from 50 € — the kit and the patience that most shops simply do not have.

💧

Ultrasonic cleaning

Sea, pool or shower. We open the Watch and clean the board in an ultrasonic bath to lift the corrosion. Done early, it dramatically improves the odds of a full recovery.

🔒

3-year warranty

Every repair is covered for three years on our work and the parts we fit, excluding liquid damage and battery wear. Free initial assessment, and same-day service on most jobs.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before bringing your Apple Watch in for repair.

How much does it cost to repair an Apple Watch in Barcelona?

Screen replacement runs from 70 € on the original 38mm Watch to 345€ on the Ultra, batteries are 40€ to 95€, and board-level repairs start at 50 €. Every price in the table on this page is fixed for that model and includes the part, the labour and VAT. The initial assessment is free; a 25€ fee applies only if you authorise a technical diagnosis with disassembly and then decide against the repair, and it is waived if you go ahead.

How long does an Apple Watch repair take?

Most are finished the same day at no extra cost, and a battery or screen replacement is often done while you go and run an errand. Board-level work can take a little longer because the repair happens under a microscope. If yours is one of the less common series, message us on WhatsApp first and we will confirm we have the part before you come in.

My Apple Watch will not turn on or will not charge. Can you fix it?

Usually, yes. A dead Watch is normally a fault on the logic board rather than a write-off, and we repair boards in-house with microsoldering — from 50 € on the older series and 85€ to 95€ on Series 8 to 10 and the Ultra. Bring it in for a free assessment and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth spending the money.

My Apple Watch does not last the day any more. Do I need a new one?

Almost certainly not — that is a worn battery, not a worn-out watch. We fit a new cell from 40 € on the early series up to 95€ on the newest models and the Ultra, usually the same day, and the watch holds a normal day's charge again. Battery wear itself is the one thing our 3-year warranty does not cover.

I got my Apple Watch wet. What should I do?

Stop using it, do not put it on the charger, and bring it to us as fast as you can. Liquid keeps corroding the board for days after the outside feels dry, so waiting makes the job harder and the odds worse. We open the Watch and clean the board in an ultrasonic bath, which is the treatment that actually saves it.

Will my Apple Watch still be water-resistant after a screen replacement?

Treat it as splash-resistant rather than swim-proof. We reseal the case with fresh adhesive every time, but no independent workshop can recertify Apple's original water-resistance rating once the display has been lifted. That is also why liquid damage sits outside our 3-year warranty.

Do I need an appointment, and where are you?

No appointment needed — just walk in. We are at Carrer del Marquès de Campo Sagrado 13-15, on the corner of Comte Borrell in the Sant Antoni neighbourhood, open Monday to Saturday 10:00 to 20:00 with no lunch break. Metro L2 Sant Antoni or L1 Urgell, and there is 1h 30min free parking for customers. We speak English.
