If you can see the glass lifting along one edge, stop wearing it: it ends up tearing the touchscreen flex and making the repair dearer than it needed to be. 17 agosto, 2026Escribo esta reseña casi dos semanas después de mi visita a este servicio, y aunque mi opinión podría cambiar más adelante, esto es lo que pienso hasta ahora. Toda mi experiencia previa con centros de servicio no autorizados de Apple había sido negativa: retrasos, comunicación poco transparente y, muchas veces, el dispositivo volvía en peor estado del que tenía, después de haber gastado dinero. Llegué a ReciclaTecnologia un par de horas después de derramar una copa entera de espresso tónico sobre mi MacBook Air M5 de 15 pulgadas nuevo, de la empresa - literalmente empapé todo el portátil, no con agua sino con una bebida con gas. Lamentablemente, los servicios oficiales de Apple no hacen limpieza local en estos casos y directamente proponen sustituir todo el topcase (la parte con teclado y batería), lo que suele costar desde 500 euros, especialmente en los modelos más nuevos. Por eso acudí a ellos para una limpieza ultrasónica y extracción de líquido. Una hora después de contactarlos ya me habían enviado fotos por WhatsApp del portátil desmontado mostrando el estado actual, y durante los 3 días que duró la reparación la comunicación fue rápida y constante. Eso sí, me advirtieron desde el principio que, aunque llevé el portátil casi de inmediato, había entrado mucho líquido y era posible que algunos componentes no volvieran a funcionar tras la limpieza. Lamentablemente el trackpad resultó dañado y hubo que sustituirlo, cosa que hicieron sin problema. Resumen: * Limpieza ultrasónica - 100 euros * Sustitución del trackpad por uno original de un equipo donante - 85 euros * Duración total del trabajo - 3 días * Comunicación transparente y rápida * 3 años de garantía en el trabajo realizado (¿alguien ha visto algo así en algún otro sitio?) Casi dos semanas después no he notado ningún cambio en el funcionamiento de mi MacBook, y espero no notarlo en el futuro. Sin duda fue una muy buena experiencia para tratarse de un servicio no autorizado, y pienso volver a acudir a ellos en el futuro. Considero que se merecen 5 estrellas y espero que mi opinión no cambie.

How much does an Apple repair cost in Barcelona?
It depends on the device and on the fault. iPhone repairs start at 25 €, iPad at 50 €, Apple Watch at 40 € and Mac at 35 €. Further down the page you have the “from” price for each device and a link to the model-by-model price list. The initial assessment is free and the price is fixed before we start: it covers diagnosis, the part, labour and VAT.
How long does a repair take?
56% of repairs are ready the same day, depending on the fault and on whether the part is in stock. An iPhone screen or battery is usually done while you wait; an iPad or an Apple Watch needs time for the seal to cure; and a board repair with microsoldering can take several days. We confirm the turnaround before we start, never after.
Will I lose my data during the repair?
On a screen, battery, charging port or camera replacement the storage is never touched and your data stays exactly where it is. On a board fault, or on a device that will not turn on, nothing can be guaranteed 100%, so we recommend backing up before you bring it in whenever the device still starts. If it no longer starts we offer data recovery, and at the initial assessment we tell you what the realistic chances are.
What exactly does the 3-year warranty cover?
It covers the part we fitted and our labour for 3 years, the same on a Mac as on an iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch: if anything related to our work fails, we put it right at no charge. Liquid damage, normal battery wear and any knocks or breakages after the repair are excluded. The full detail is on our 3-year warranty page.
iPhone screen: Incell, OLED or Original Service Pack?
All three are genuine options and we talk you through them before you decide. Incell is a compatible display: it is the cheapest, from 50 €, and works well for everyday use. OLED is the higher-quality option and the one we recommend if you work with photo or video. The Original Service Pack is Apple’s own part: it costs the most, but it is exactly what the official service fits. With all three we keep your Face ID working and the repair carries a 3-year warranty.
Do you repair iPad and Apple Watch as well?
Yes, and not just the screen. On iPad we replace the screen from 50 € and the battery from 50 €, and repair the board from 50 €; on the iPad 10 and iPad 11 the price depends on whether the glass alone is enough or the full LCD has to be changed. On Apple Watch we replace the battery from 40 €, repair the board from 50 € and replace the screen from 70 €, from Series 1 to Series 11 and on SE and Ultra. Ultrasonic treatment for liquid damage costs from 70 € on both.
Can you repair a Mac that won’t turn on?
In most cases yes. A Mac that won’t power on often has a repairable fault at component level on the logic board. We perform microsolder repair and diagnose the root cause. Bring it in for a free assessment.
Can you upgrade my Mac RAM or SSD?
Yes, on compatible models from 2008 onwards. An SSD or RAM upgrade is often the most cost-effective way to dramatically improve the performance of an older Mac. We migrate all your data securely as part of the service.
Are you an Apple authorised service provider? Do I need an appointment?
No. We are not an authorised provider and we are not affiliated with Apple: we are an independent Apple service centre in Sant Antoni with our own microsoldering bench, and that is precisely what lets us repair at component level and take in devices Apple now classes as vintage or obsolete. And no, you do not need an appointment: walk in Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 20:00 with no lunchtime closing, at Carrer del Marquès de Campo Sagrado 13-15, on the corner of Comte Borrell. There is 1h 30min of free parking for customers.
