iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max and 17 Air. iPhone 16, 16e, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. These boards are stacked and densely packed, so cleaning one properly needs a microscope and a steady hand rather than a hairdryer.

iPhone X, XR, XS, XS Max, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Older phones tend to arrive with more corrosion, simply because the liquid has been sitting inside longer before anyone brings them in. We still recover plenty of them.
Board-level repair is a fixed price per model, listed in the table further down this page: from 60 € on an iPhone 8 up to 200 € on an iPhone 15 or newer. Not every wet iPhone needs board work, and we tell you which camp yours is in before you commit to anything.
How iPhone water damage repair works at ReciclaTecnologia
Five steps, and the first one starts before you reach us.
1. Do not charge it. Do not switch it on. Bring it in.
Power plus liquid is what kills a logic board. Leave the phone off, skip the rice, and get it to Sant Antoni as fast as you can. Walk in Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 20:00, no appointment needed.
2. Free initial assessment
We check the liquid contact indicators, see what the phone still does and tell you what we are probably dealing with. That first look is free. If we need to take it apart to diagnose properly we say so first: a 25€ fee applies only if you then decide against the repair, and it is waived entirely if you go ahead.
3. We open it and clean the board
The phone comes apart and the logic board goes through an ultrasonic bath in isopropyl alcohol. That is the only thing that lifts residue from underneath the shields, the connectors and the chips, which is exactly where the corrosion lives.
4. Corrosion treatment and component replacement
Under the microscope we clean the corroded pads and connectors and replace the components the liquid has eaten away. This is microsoldering work, and it is the stage where we find out whether your data is coming back.
5. Full testing, then a clear quote
Charging, screen, cameras, speakers, microphones, Face ID and signal all get tested before we phone you. You get a realistic price and a straight answer about what we can and cannot promise.

17 agosto, 2026Escribo esta reseña casi dos semanas después de mi visita a este servicio, y aunque mi opinión podría cambiar más adelante, esto es lo que pienso hasta ahora. Toda mi experiencia previa con centros de servicio no autorizados de Apple había sido negativa: retrasos, comunicación poco transparente y, muchas veces, el dispositivo volvía en peor estado del que tenía, después de haber gastado dinero. Llegué a ReciclaTecnologia un par de horas después de derramar una copa entera de espresso tónico sobre mi MacBook Air M5 de 15 pulgadas nuevo, de la empresa - literalmente empapé todo el portátil, no con agua sino con una bebida con gas. Lamentablemente, los servicios oficiales de Apple no hacen limpieza local en estos casos y directamente proponen sustituir todo el topcase (la parte con teclado y batería), lo que suele costar desde 500 euros, especialmente en los modelos más nuevos. Por eso acudí a ellos para una limpieza ultrasónica y extracción de líquido. Una hora después de contactarlos ya me habían enviado fotos por WhatsApp del portátil desmontado mostrando el estado actual, y durante los 3 días que duró la reparación la comunicación fue rápida y constante. Eso sí, me advirtieron desde el principio que, aunque llevé el portátil casi de inmediato, había entrado mucho líquido y era posible que algunos componentes no volvieran a funcionar tras la limpieza. Lamentablemente el trackpad resultó dañado y hubo que sustituirlo, cosa que hicieron sin problema. Resumen: * Limpieza ultrasónica - 100 euros * Sustitución del trackpad por uno original de un equipo donante - 85 euros * Duración total del trabajo - 3 días * Comunicación transparente y rápida * 3 años de garantía en el trabajo realizado (¿alguien ha visto algo así en algún otro sitio?) Casi dos semanas después no he notado ningún cambio en el funcionamiento de mi MacBook, y espero no notarlo en el futuro. Sin duda fue una muy buena experiencia para tratarse de un servicio no autorizado, y pienso volver a acudir a ellos en el futuro. Considero que se merecen 5 estrellas y espero que mi opinión no cambie.

My iPhone got wet. Can it be saved?
Very often, yes. It comes down to which liquid it was and how long it has been inside: salt water and sugary drinks do the most damage, and every day that passes lowers the odds. Bring it in for a free initial assessment and we will tell you honestly where you stand.
Does putting an iPhone in rice work?
No. Rice absorbs a bit of moisture from the air and nothing more, and it leaves the corrosive residue sitting on the logic board. Every day the phone spends in rice is a day the corrosion spreads. Bring it to us instead.
My iPhone still works after the spill. Do I need to do anything?
Yes. Corrosion builds up over days and weeks, so a phone that survived the first night can die a fortnight later. An internal clean now is far cheaper than a board repair later on.
Can you recover my photos from a water-damaged iPhone?
In many cases yes, provided you act quickly. Data is the first thing we go after on a wet phone, before anything else. We give you the realistic odds after the initial assessment, not after you have paid.
How much does iPhone water damage repair cost?
The initial assessment is free. Cleaning is quoted once we have opened the phone and seen the real state of the board. If the logic board itself needs repair, the price is fixed per model: from 60 € on an iPhone 8 up to 200 € on an iPhone 15 or newer, as listed in the table on this page.
Is water damage covered by your 3-year warranty?
No, and we say so upfront. Our 3-year warranty covers our workmanship and the parts we fit, but liquid damage and battery wear are excluded. Liquid keeps corroding a board long after the repair, so nobody can honestly guarantee a wet phone for three years.
How long does it take, and do I need an appointment?
No appointment: walk in Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 20:00, at Carrer del Marques de Campo Sagrado 13-15 in Sant Antoni. Many repairs are finished the same day, though a liquid job depends on what we find once the board is out. Cleaning and testing can be done in hours; replacing corroded components takes longer.
